Urban Reload Money Guide: What to Spend Cash On and Where

Where to spend Urban Reload cash and what to buy first: guns at the gun store (the M4 is the benchmark), then weapon cases and attachments — plus how to stack cash fast in the Farm Zone.

Quick answer

Spend your Urban Reload cash at the gun store, and buy a gun before anything else — the M4 is the community's benchmark purchase at a reported 1.5+ mil. After that, weapon cases and attachments are where the rest of your money goes.

  • Find the gun store by following the symbols in the sky; it sits underneath the train track.
  • On keyboard, hold ALT to free the cursor, then click the Shop entry (shopping-cart icon) to open the menu.
  • Stack cash in the Farm Zone — players report it pays way more than PvP.
  • Working promo codes top you up with free cash before you start grinding.

Where you spend cash: the gun store

Almost everything worth buying sits in one place. Follow the symbols (emojis) shown in the sky — one of them marks the gun store, which sits underneath the train track. That's where different guns are bought, and the store area also displays a leaderboard tracking kills, KD and money. Your own total runs as a live counter in the top-right corner of the HUD while you play.

To open the store menu on the keyboard interface (where the ALT prompt shows), hold ALT to release the cursor, then click the Shop entry — the shopping-cart icon on the right, in the layout with the labeled Crew and Shop buttons. At the store, you choose a case from the offerings:

The store sellsWhat you use it for
GunsThe main upgrade path — replacing the weapon you currently carry.
Weapon casesThe randomized rolls players chase for rare gear.
AttachmentsBuying new mods, plus equipping everything you've gotten so far.

Buy a gun first

Players currently rate the M4 — alongside the LMG — as probably the best gun in the game. One owner calls it "literally the best or the second best gun in the game" and describes upgrading from the purple AK to the M4 as "a massive game difference." The reported purchase price is over 1.5 mil, which makes the M4 a concrete saving target for your first big stack.

Treat prices as individual reported purchases, not a published price list — another player reports getting two M16s in a row after spending 2 mil. Our best guns guide covers how the arsenal compares, and the guns list runs through what's in the game.

Then cases and attachments: the money sink

The same store sells weapon cases and attachments, and it's where you equip the attachments you've collected so far. A streamer sums it up as "pretty much where you waste your money" — rolls come down to luck, and one player reports spending roughly 40 mil at the store chasing a drum mag without ever getting it.

In one live shopping session, a player weighed a size attachment (noting "dual size is the rarest"), accepted a green-quality roll as long as the stat difference wasn't big, and spotted 60-round drums available with a "drum max 1%" tag. That's one player's read of the roll screen, not an established tier rule — but the takeaway holds: expect misses, and don't sink cash you still need for a gun. Our weapon attachments page goes deeper on setups.

How to stack the cash you'll spend

The Farm Zone is where the money is. Find it via the sky symbols again; street signs and yellow skull landmarks also mark the way. About 10 NPC bots spawn at a time, chase you around, and drop collectible money on their bodies when killed.

One player collected 8,000 on the spot while already holding 2 mil and notes you can repeat the loop for as long as you want to stack up a lot of money; one session observed about 300k in 20 minutes. Players report farming pays way more than PvP, and the Farm Zone is described as pretty much the only farming spot right now — keep in mind the game is brand new and still in beta, so that can change. The step-by-step loop lives in our money farming guide.

Two payout quirks are worth knowing before you start:

  • Body shots pay more than headshots. Headshots only finish bots faster — if you want the money, shoot the body.
  • Payouts look partly random. One session saw repeated 950s, a single 100, and occasional 1300s, with no visible pattern.

PvP is the supplement, not the main route: player kills pay cash, and the green cash notification next to the kill feed shows what each kill paid. Example payouts: 2,500 cash for a rifle PvP kill and 1K near downed targets — examples, not universal rates.

Top up with promo codes

Before you grind, it's worth checking working promo codes — they hand out extra cash and useful items right away, which goes straight toward stronger guns and better attachments without the long farm.
