How to Loot Guns from Defeated Enemies in Urban Reload
Take a gun from a defeated enemy in Urban Reload: win the street fight, confirm the takedown, then loot their weapon to add it to your equipment.
Quick answer
Take on an enemy player in a street fight, take them down, and once they're down you can loot the gun they were carrying and add it to your equipment.
Looting a defeated enemy's gun is a core loop in Urban Reload: fights happen on the city streets, and the guns you take from enemies become part of your equipment options. Here's how it works, plus how to tell a downed opponent from a fully defeated one.
Taking a gun from a defeated enemy
- Check your hotbar. Before entering a fight, identify the supplies you have available so you know what you're working with when it starts.
- Enter a street fight. Gun looting is part of PvP street fights against other players in the city.
- Take the enemy down. The enemy has to be taken down before you can take their gun, so win the fight first.
- Loot their gun. Once the enemy is down, loot the gun they were carrying to build your equipment options.

Downed is not the same as defeated
A downed character lies on the ground with a red cross marker, and the screen edges can also turn red. Down does not mean out: they may still have a small amount of health, and with ammunition remaining you can keep firing at a downed opponent.
The kill feed is what confirms a completed kill — it names the killer and the defeated player. A merely downed opponent does not appear there as a confirmed kill. Since you can only loot a gun from an enemy who has been taken down, treat the kill feed as your signal that the fight is actually finished before you move on.
Why looting guns matters
Urban Reload's official description spells out the loop: you can lose your weapons, so you play smart — and you take down enemies and loot their guns. In practice, that makes every street fight a chance to re-arm. If your own guns are gone, a defeated enemy's weapon is the most direct way to get one back and keep your equipment options open.
